Which size is right for me?

Three main sizing systems have evolved around the world. To try and make it easier for you when ordering, approximate conversions will show automatically when you choose a size. Here's how to interpret our sizes:

EU (European) sizing is universal for women’s and men’s shoes: that is, a size 41 shoe is the same size shoe whether it is a women’s or men’s shoe.

UK (United Kingdom) sizing is universal also. In NZ it is the most common sizing for men’s shoes but is less common for women’s shoes – the exception being some shoes from Germany and, of course, shoes from the UK.

US (United States) sizing is common in NZ for women’s shoes and for men’s US sports shoe brands, but it is not universal. A women’s shoe in US size is two sizes smaller than a shoe in a women’s UK size – women’s US 6 is a UK 4. A men’s shoe in US sizing is a half to one size smaller than UK sizing – men’s US 9 is a UK 8.
